How do you make the social media communications of your city more appealing?

Social media of large cities do not have to be dull and boring at all! City of Poznań is a prime example, as it decided to open a competition application in a Facebook tab. It was possible to participate in the game by logging in via both computer or mobile devices. Cyclically, every few weeks, there were new questions testing the knowledge of local residents added to the quiz, with attractive prizes waiting for the winners.
Objective
- Increasing fan engagement on City of Poznań Facebook profile.
- Promoting the knowledge of Poznań.
Solution proposal
- Our task was to create a comprehensive competition application – from the graphic project stage,the whole competition formula and coding, to compiling the rules of competition and implementing the application in Facebook tab of the City of Poznań profile.
- What was the competition formula? Cyclically, every few weeks, new questions were added to the quiz – mainly to test the knowledge of Poznań with new, great prizes waiting for the winners.

Increased engagement
Every quiz was taken by hundreds of people and the game itself turned out to be a great way to add some flair to the fanpage communication and increase the community engagement during 2019 holiday season.
