Influencer marketing as a tool to promote city activities

The Lublin City Hall has decided to create a programme entitled “Guide of Inspiration”, which aims to gather city guides and showcase the tourist potential of Lublin.

However, every new initiative needs proper marketing to have the desired effect. As part of the “Discover the mysteries of Lublin” campaign, which we had the pleasure to create, we proposed activities related to Social Ads: Facebook Ads and Instagram Ads as well as Influencer marketing.

Objective

  • Spreading the word about the Guide of Inspiration programme among potential tourists of the city.
  • Increasing awareness regarding the tourist offer in Lublin and encouraging the purchase of tourist walks offered by the Guides of Inspiration as part of the Programme.
  • Building Lublin’s image as an inspiring and attractive city for tourists.

Solution proposal

  • We developed a concept for an image campaign promoting the Guide of Inspiration programme by announcing selected tourist routes.
  • We created dedicated graphics and intriguing ads, as well as a Facebook Ads and Instagram Ads campaign strategy. Advertising campaigns were properly targeted and optimised for the relevant groups in Lublin and Poland.
  • We have teamed up with one of the most recognisable travel bloggers in Poland – Tasteaway.
  • 20 publications.
  • More than 20 posts in photo and video company presenting Lublin by Tasteaway on Facebook and Instagram + dozens of InstaStories.
  • The Social Media outreach of 500,000 thanks to the cooperation with Influencers.
  • 30,000 views on Tasteaway blog in first month of posting it and still generating organic traffic.
